Après 2 albums en binôme avec Katana au sein du groupe Unité 2 Feu, désormais Alkpote avance en solo. C'est sous la bannière de Néochrome que le rappeur vivant en Essonne depuis 1995 va faire ses armes. Il reconnaît de lui-même qu'Alkpote est un personnage qu'il voulait sortir de sa tête. Le résultat ne se fait pas attendre, les apparitions du rappeur, en freestyle, en interview ou en live sont toujours suivies de réactions. S'il est un rappeur (désormais) solo, il fera partie du projet Néochrome Hall Stars avec Seth Gueko et Zekwe Ramos. Il est toujours très demandé en featuring, reste très productif et ne rate jamais l'occasion de sortir un album ou une punchline.
